Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation “Cure Me” Art Exhibit

JDRF is a leader in setting the agenda for diabetes research worldwide, and is the largest charitable funder of and advocate for Type 1 diabetes research. The art featured here shows “Hope” for children with Type 1 diabetes and a cure becoming a reality.

“Hope” by Laura Shubert

The original painting on display entitled “Hope” was created by fine artist Laura Shubert and several children with Type 1 diabetes living in Central Florida. With “Hope,” their future of being cured will become a reality. This original artwork was auctioned off during the Live Auction at the JDRF Gala on October 1, 2011. Visit Gallery C to see more of Laura’s work.
